This image above shows thh spending of husbands and wives. As you can see the husbands by more of the technically products such as the video cameras and the dvd player. However the wife is more inclined to by more domestic products such as the dishwasher and food products. The children however do not have much buyer power as they do not have much money so they buy personal items for themselves such as video games.
This is another diagram which shows who buys what in a typicall family. the husband and wifes are similar to the diagram further up however on this diagram there is a joint section. For example the family car is in the joint part this is because both the adults are going to be driving the car which means both of them need an opinion it. also the vacation is part of the joing section because both of the adults are going to eb going on the holiday so it has to be a holiday they would both enjoy. Also all of the joint items are the most expensive on the diagram which shows that both the husband and the wife need to be sure on the item if they are going to spend alot of money on it.
The companys who sell holidays such as Thomas Cook and First Choice knwo that they need to advertise to both men and women because the buying power in a family is both of them when it is of a high value product. However it is different if a company was selling for example hammers, the company would advertise towards males as they are more likey to buy DIY products.
Your family mould yourself as a person as they are the ones that bring you up and teach you the morels you respect also it depends on the level of wealth they are bringing into the family to determine how wealthy you are. family are highly important, i personally do not know what i would do without mine.
